Initial western bean cutworm risks continue for the next five days especially across fields in southern Nebraska and northern Kansas. Additional emergence risks are predicted by late this week and into next weekend across portions of the Great Lakes region from the central sands region of Wisconsin southeast into lower Michigan, northern Indiana, and northwest Ohio. Growers in these areas should be on the lookout for newly emerged moths in the next week or so.
