Western bean cutworm emergence is predicted to continue especially across the Plains states but some fields in the Great Lakes region may also see some moths appear in the next five to seven days. A Moderate western bean cutworm emergence risk is now in place across southern Nebraska and northern Kansas by next week as moth counts and heat unit accumulations are now increasing across this region. Low risks are in place across much of Nebraska and Kansas in addition to portions of Wisconsin, southern Michigan, northeast Indiana, and northwest Ohio where emergence should just be starting.
