Western bean cutworm emergence and flight will continue across a large portion of the corn-growing region this week. High risks continue across large sections of northern Kansas, Nebraska, western Iowa, and northwest Missouri where peak flight is already occurring or is expected to begin this week. Moderate risks extend across additional fields in northern Kansas, much of Nebraska, southeast South Dakota, southwest Minnesota, Iowa, and northern Missouri. Additional Moderate risks are predicted across sandier soils in Wisconsin, Michigan, northern Indiana, northern Ohio, northwest Pennsylvania, and southwest Ontario, Canada as well where moth counts are expected to continue to increase this week.
