The final western bean cutworm risk of the 2011 growing season ends midday Wednesday across portions of southern Ontario and Quebec, Canada. While a few moths are still being reported on a scattered basis with the highest concentration likely in the remaining risk area, any economic problems are no longer expected to occur as most, if not all, crops are now past critical stages where damage could occur.
